Project Inti was highlighted in Massage & Bodywork magazine, May/June 2012 issue in "The Value of Sharing Your Values."
Since 2008, I have been traveling to Peru to do volunteer work with orphaned children with special needs, as well as provide outreach to families living in poverty. My volunteer work has involved massage and physical therapy, teaching basic hygiene and basic first aid training, and providing aid to families. I continue to dedicate a portion of all massage revenues to support these volunteer programs. 100% of infant massage revenues go directly to this project.
These experiences led us to the creation of a special outreach project called Project Inti. Since 2011, we have helped more than 2,000 people with a few thousand dollars and the help of more than a dozen volunteers. Please visit us at www.projectinti.org to learn more.
"Inti" in Quechua, the native language of the Andes, means "sun." According to Inca legend, we are all children of the sun. Let's help spread sunshine to these children and families.
